Last Sunday’s Sermon:  After feeding the multitude the people sought Jesus not because they saw the signs, but because they ate of the loaves and were filled. In John 6:27 Jesus responds to the multitude “Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you”.   Later on in the chapter we read John 6:56-57 “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him .…he who feeds on Me will live because of Me”.  The food that enables us to abide in Him and endures to everlasting life is the Eucharist.  God’s unconditional, and sacrificial love is revealed to us through the Eucharist. To view the sermon use this link and scroll to 01:07:00.

May our Risen Lord support and protect you and your family by the power of His Holy Resurrection.

Fr. Cyril

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
